Jazz & Tigger

Jazz  Tigger

Week Six: 3-8-10
The pups have had a great week. They have had lots of company, been outside a few times, and have been doing a little retrieving of small toys. They had their second trip to the vet today for their first round of vaccinations and deworming. Just as a point of reference, Mr. Orange weighs 7.5 pounds. Thanks for all the interest in this litter. Only one male remains available. The pedigree behind this litter is second to none. We are excited for them to get to their homes, starting this weekend, and begin training. We expect excellent reports after their first hunting season.

Week Five: 3-1-10
What a week this has been--the pups have absolutely come alive! They love to come out of their kennel and play. It was even nice enough today so they could have their first outing outside. It was a short one, but they got to explore a little. They also had their first exposure to a pheasant this evening. They were all pretty curious about that. They are now fully weaned, eating puppy food, and drinking milk and water. This age is a blast. Thanks for all the interest in this litter. Only one male is now available. I will update the male availability as our owners make their selections this week.

Week Four: 2-22-10
The puppies have had a fun week. They are running around, playing with each other, and responding to us when we come into their kennel. They are loving milk and have been getting some puppy food the last couple of days. As of today, their whelping box is out of the kennel so they have lots of room to play. Enjoy their newest photos. Five males are available from this litter.

Week Three: 2-15-10
The puppies really changed this week. They are pretty good on their wobbly legs and are starting to play with each other and wag their tails. One day I'm sure they will all be big, tough, hunting dogs. For now, however, they are just adorable little pups. They had their first taste of milk tonight. Check out Mr. Silver's picture; he caught on right away and loved it! Five males are available from this litter.

Week Two: 2-8-10
The puppies continue to eat and sleep and eat and sleep. They all have their eyes completely open as of today. And, they are beginning to stand up and walk on their very wobbly legs. Soon they will be running all over the place. We have had their string collars on for a week. It's fun to see their little personalities start to develop. Enjoy their first individual portraits. Six males remain available from this litter.

Week One: 2-1-10
The puppies had a busy week. On Wednesday (1-27) they had their first visit to the vet to have a check-up and get their dew claws removed. Everyone received a good report, including Jazz. We are so proud of her--she is such a great mom. The pups spent the rest of their first week eating, sleeping, eating, and sleeping. As a result of all the eating and sleeping, they have really grown. We put their string collars on tonight so we can start to get to know who is who. Next week we will post individual pictures of everybody. Six males remain available from this litter.

Happy Birthday: 01-25-10
January 25th is a great day! Jazz delivered 11 beautiful babies throughout the night/morning, all while a blizzard was roaring outside. We have four perfect little girls and seven sweet little boys. All are the color of dark fudge. It is amazing how strong they already are at less than 24 hours old. Two girls and six boys are still available from this litter. Enjoy some birthday photos and see for yourself how beautiful the family is.

Litter Announcement: 01-11-10
We are excited to announce that we have a litter coming from Jazz and Tigger. The pups will arrive the end of January. This is the first time we have crossed these two chocolates and the first all chocolate litter for our kennel. Both Jazz and Tigger have such great personalities and impressive pedigrees. We think their pups will be awesome. We are taking deposits on the litter. Please feel free to contact us for more information or if you have any questions.

Final Update: 9-2-09
Mr. Red (aka Rocky) left tonight for his new home. We miss him already but are happy that he gets to be the center of attention in his new family. The feedback from this litter has been very positive, so we will plan for a repeat breeding of Roxy and Rio in summer 2010. Our next litter will be Jazz and Tigger; timing for this all chocolate litter should be spring of 2010. We haven't had chocolate pups before so we are really looking forward to this combination. Please feel free to contact us in the meantime if you are interested in either of these upcoming litters. We'd be happy to add you to the waiting list.

Week Fifteen: 8-10-09
Mr. Red is still available. He is a great little boy. He enjoys being with the "big dogs" and spending time with us too. He is long and lean like his mom. He is a good listener and a lot of fun. He is ready to be someone's friend and hunting companion. Check out his pictures.

They show a lot of interest in retrieving and are responding to simple commands. They definitely enjoy being around people. Check out these pictures that I took tonight. They are ready to go to good homes.

We are happy to report that Mr. Forest left for his new home yesterday. Mr. Red and Mr. Silver are still available.

Week Ten: 7-5-09
The puppies will be ten weeks old tomorrow. We have three boys available: Mr. Forest, Mr. Red, and Mr. Silver. They are really developing fun personalities and are great pups. And, they are very handsome little guys...just look at their most recent pictures taken today. Please contact us for more information.

Week Nine: 6-29-09
The five black boys are still available. We have had a lot of rain recently so they have been having fun in the water in our yard. The pictures this week are a little more random, but we wanted you to be able to get a good look at the pups. Check out Mr. Lime in the water "pointing!" These are great little pups. We are working with them with some discipline and practicing manners. They are smart pups and respond well. They seem to know the word "no" already if they are messing with something they shouldn't be (like my flowers!). However you plan to celebrate, have a safe and fun Fourth of July!

Week Eight: 6-22-09
Just a quick update. Ms. Pink has a home so we only have the five black males available. The pups have been spending a lot of time outside and have enjoyed their first "swim" in a rain puddle and the dog pool. They haven't quite figured out that they can just play in the water and not have to drink the pool dry. Wow--those little bellies get pretty big! I'll post updated pictures later in the week.

Week Seven: 6-15-09
The puppies went to the vet last Wednesday (June 10) for their six week check-ups and first round of shots. They can go outside to an enclosed area from their kennel, so they have been spending time outside now that the days are warm. The two yellow boys left on Sunday and the yellow girl will leave this week. Here are some updated pictures; they were tough to photograph this week. Too many things to see and hear outside! All black pups are still available. Please contact us for more information.

Week Six: 6-8-09
Just a quick update on availability. All three yellow pups are sold. Thanks for all the calls and e-mails. Watch for updates as availability changes. Updated pictures will be posted yet this week too.

Week Five: 6-1-09
The puppies have been enjoying the nicer weather and so have we. It is great to be able to take them outside to play and exercise. We have never had fair weather puppies before, so this is a lot of fun. At five weaks, the pups are completely weaned, eating puppy food, and drinking milk and water. They are very curious now when they are outside and love all the attention they can get. And, of course, they are completely adorable. It's fun to watch them react to all the sounds outside, especially the birds. All pups are still available except Ms. Lavender.
