Week Seven: 4-17-11
It is so hard to believe that the pups are seven weeks old today. Six pups left for their new homes this weekend. The remaining five pups will leave over the course of this week and next weekend. We are excited for them to be part of their new families and look forward to receiving progress reports and pictures. That said, I already miss the ones who left. For those owners who couldn't come this weekend, check out the pictures of your pups that we took today. They are so beautiful and sweet and a little crazy. Everything a seven week old pup should be.

Week Six: 4-10-11
The pups had a trip to the vet on Friday for their first round of shots and deworming. They all received a good checkup and lots of attention from all the staff at the vet clinic. Puppies are always a hit! These little guys are so much fun right now. They have some new toys and are very playful with us and each other. Thank you to our owners for working with us to make your selections and arranging your pick up dates. I will continue to update pups as "not availabe" as they are picked. Week Five: 4-3-11
The pups have had a busy week. Check out their new pictures. Don't they look grown up? They are fully weened and eating puppy food and drinking milk and water. They are very playful and love all the company they have had. We are happy to report that this litter is now sold out. I can't believe in two more weeks they can leave for their new homes. For our new owners: As you know, the pups will be picked in order of deposits received. Please be thinking about making your selection. As pups are picked, I will mark them as unavialable so those down the list know who is still left for them to choose from. We know this isn't easy so please feel free to call or visit anytime to help you make your choice. Let us know if you have any questions; we are happy to help. This is a great group of pups, and we are excited for you to have them as part of your family.

Week Four: 3-27-11
The pups are really getting big. We removed their whelping box today so they are free to explore their kennel. Their teeth are in, and they are chewing on each other and whatever or whoever else might be available. They started drinking milk this week and have had some soft food too. Jazz is spending less and less time with them. They are really getting personalities now. They love nap time on my lap. Check out today's photo shoot. I think Ms. Peach and Ms. Pink really posed this time; they probably felt the pressure from Ms. Lemon's great shot last week. Mr. Red also looks particularly handsome. One female remains available.

Week Three: 3-20-11
The pups are three weeks old already and have had lots of visitors this week. They still sleep a lot, but they are getting pretty spunky when they are awake. They are even starting to play with each other a little now. Eyes are wide open and bright. They are so darn cute even though my photography skills don't always capture it. Check out the lovely Ms. Lemon's picture. She sure took a great picture today. Interest in this litter has been very high; ten of the eleven pups have homes. Only one female is still available.

Week Two: 3-13-11
The pups have had a great week...sleeping...eating...growing. They have about doubled in size and have their eyes open now. Soon they will really be on the go. Week One: 3-6-2011
Hard to believe the pups are a week old already. They are all doing very well and have grown a lot. The whole family had a trip to the vet on Tuesday for a check up and to have their dew claws removed. Everyone received a good report. Today we put their colored "collars" on. The girls are Ms. Pink, Ms. Lilac, Ms. Peach, Ms. Lime, Ms. Purple, and Ms. Lemon. The boys are Mr. Silver, Mr. Sage, Mr. Red, Mr. Orange, and Mr. Turquoise. Next week we will start posting individual pictures. For now, enjoy some group shots. Availability is three females and two males. Please contact us for more information.

Litter Arrival 2-27-2011: Happy Birthday!
On Sunday, February 27, our dog family more than doubled as Jazz delivered 11 perfect puppies. The count is six girls and five boys. All are doing very well--noisy and hungry. Jazz is a great mom and is taking excellent care of her large family. The puppies are all very uniform in size and are a beautiful dark chocolate. Here are the first family photos. As of today, we have three males and four females available. Watch for weekly updates as the litter grows and availability changes. Please see the "Our Labs" page of our website to view Jazz's and Tigger's pedigrees. These pups have excellent bloodlines with many field champions in their background. Litter Announcement
We are very excited to announce that we are expecting a Jazz/Tigger litter around March 1. This combination will produce exceptional chocolates. Between the two of them, Jazz and Tigger have 33 of the 100 labs in the National Retriever Hall of Fame. Their pedigrees include many field trial champions. If you follow our site, you will remember our first litter of this pair was born January of last year. Many of the owners of these pups have kept in touch with us and report excellent first hunting seasons. The Jazz/Tigger pups are living up to their pedigree. Here are some comments from owners of the first Jazz/Tigger litter:
