Montana Moonshine

Montana

Montana, a.k.a. Monty, is the reason for our kennel. He is a very classic looking lab—a square head and a bulky build. His pedigree includes Jazztime blood lines, a real plus. He is as loyal and dedicated as the day is long and an excellent listener in the field or in the yard.

Blackjack’s Rio Grand

Rio

Rio comes to us from Blackjack Kennels. Both of his parents hold a GMPR title.  His pedigree and looks are impressive. His purpose in life is to please us. He will retrieve all day long and never tire. Rio is a smaller build, weighing in at about 65 pounds. He maybe isn’t the biggest dog on the block, but he is energetic and has a nose second to none.

Moonshine’s Simon Says

Simon

Simon is our own pup—a nice cross between Montana and Molly.  He has the classic lab build and a very mellow attitude. He is a great family pet and a very hard worker when it’s time to retrieve.

Bayou’s Cajun Tigger

Tigger

Tigger comes to us from Bayou Labradors in New Orleans. He is a handsome, dark chocolate with excellent hunting bloodlines. His personality is calm and loyal--a real southern gentleman.  Please click here to see a combined AKC and UKC pedigree for Tigger.

Captain’s Lil Miss Molly

Molly

Molly is from Captain’s Kennels. She is a blend of show lines and master hunter lines. She is a beautiful, mellow dog—the sweetest disposition you could ever want. It all changes, though, when a training dummy or a gun is brought out. Then, she’s ready to work with a level of unexpected energy. Unfortunately, Molly can't have puppies anymore. She remains part of our family and connected to our future litters through her son, Simon.

Play Me Some Jazz

Jazz

Jazzmine is a Smith Farm Labs dog. Her background includes Way-To-Go-Rocky and  Elwood Blues. Both of these dogs have very impressive records producing pups with hunting titles. Jazz is compact, very lovable, and energetic at about 55 pounds. Her dark chocolate coat makes her a real beauty.

Wanna Be A Star

Roxy

Roxy is a very fine built lab with a slender, athletic frame and narrow face. Her sire was Minnesota Hunt and Horse Club Gabe. She was born in Iowa.  Roxy is our baby and maybe just a little spoiled…just a little. If she isn’t in the yard carrying a stick ready to retrieve, she is probably relaxing on the couch.
